| MEMBERSHIP | |
| 1 | Q: HOW TO APPLY FOR THE LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP? A: All PCN staff and students are automatically members of the Francis light Resource Centre. |
| 2 | Q: WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THE LIBRARY? A: Only registered members of the PCN library are allowed to enter the library. Entrants must display their ID cards upon entering the Library at all times. For library rules and regulations, click here (link to Home – Policies – Rules and regulations) |
| 3 | Q: ARE PERSONAL BELONGINGS, FOOD AND DRINK ALLOWED INSIDE THE LIBRARY? A: No bags, foods and drinks are allowed to be brought into the library except for plain water. |

| 2 | Q: WHAT IS LIBRARY ACCOUNT? A: Library account is a platform for library members to manage their circulation activities such as online renewing, checking loan details, and checking fines and make online reservation. |
| 3 | Q: WHAT IS MY LOGIN ID AND PASSWORD? A: Your login ID is your student number and your password is your IC number (which can be changed later). |
| 4 | Q: WHAT IS THE PENALTY FEE FOR A LATE RETURN/OVERDUE BOOK? A: Penalty for 1-7 days is RM1/day. More than 7 days RM1.50/day. |

| 1 | Q: WHAT IS OPAC STAND FOR AND IT’S FUNCTION? A: OPAC is stand for Open Public Access Catalog. It is used to search and locate materials available in the Francis Light Library. |
| 2 | Q: I CAN'T FIND THE BOOK I NEED ON THE SHELVES, YET THE OPAC SHOWS IT'S NOT BEING BORROWED. A: This means that the book might be misplaced by other users. Please report this to the staff at the counter. Our staff will try to locate the book for you. |
| 3 | Q: HOW CAN I USE DISCUSSION ROOM? A: Discussion room can be booked manually through the circulation counter on first-come-first-serve basis. |
